• 10-12-03 : Our third Columbus Day extended stay. As last year the colors
  were fantastic. You provided a great vacation for an extremely reasonable
  price. As usual we didn't have enough time to do all that we wanted to, but

• 9-20-03 : Our 4th year now and again a peaceful and romantic stay. Fire on
  the beach at sunset is always beautiful. Great area and accomodations.

• 7-24-03 : We enjoyed picking blue berries outside by the deck. We had them
  with our pancakes in the morning. We spent alot of time on the road
  catching the sights. Seney Wildlife Refuge, Oswald Bear Ranch, Pictured
  Rocks Boat Tour, National Park and especially enjoyed collecting rocks by
  the Autrain boat ramp. We also tried to see the areas water falls, there
  are so many. Ralph, Sue, Emily and pepper too.

• 8-27-03 : Northern Lights were awesome, we had never seen them before so
  this was very special. Very relaxing evenings sitting around the campfire.
  The lake is picture perfect, swimming was great. We did alot of sight
  seeing. Waterfalls and Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. Looking forward
  to coming back, next time it will be with the 4 wheelers. Trails are

• 8-20-03 : The serentity of the lake is just what we needed to extend our
  all-too-busy summer as we prepare to go back to school. The boys are
  already asking to come back. Our golden retriever learned how to swim. We
  will always remember our stay here. Had a terrific time in your cozy lodge

• 8-15-03 : Our family had a wonderful and relaxing week here at Powell Shores!
  This was our first time staying here and we really enjoyed the cottage and
  the setting. We spent alot of time on the lake- canoeing, casually fishing,
  swimming, and totally relaxing. Saw a bald eagle one morning. We took
  short trips each direction to explore the area. The moon was beautiful from
  the deck, enjoyed camp fires roasting marshmellows and hot dogs. Had
  s'mores too. Loved the fireplace, wish it would have been cooler to use it
  more. All and all, a very quiet and enjoyable week. Speical thanks for
  having a washer and dryer. We hope to be back another year.

• 8-6-03 : Had a fantastic time. Spent a lot of time canoeing, relaxing and
  stargazing at night. Our dog Bailey will be especially sad to leave the
